Mr. Moriya from the Spanish bar Risarisa in Showa-cho has uploaded a video introducing Usagi and Me on Instagram. Thank you very much.
I am always impressed by Moriya's initiative, as he immediately puts into action whatever comes to his mind.

The BuyLocal website also has information on nearby stores offering takeout, so please take a look. If you're unsure about takeout options, please choose a local, independent store. We appreciate your support, however reasonable it may be.

The key to takeout is providing information that follows the ordering process

This time I'll be talking a bit about stores.

Recently, the number of restaurants offering takeout has increased, so I've been looking at the situation of the restaurants around me and using it as a reference for developing my own restaurant. However, since it seems like every restaurant has started offering takeout, it seems that some restaurants are struggling. Restaurants that have been offering takeout for a long time are still the strongest. When I talk to other restaurant owners and look at online posts, I feel that the success and failure of restaurants that have recently started offering takeout is clearly determined by whether they are "regularly posting on social media and building relationships" and "creating a path for customers to use takeout."
Using social media doesn't produce immediate results, but if you put some thought into the flow of traffic, you will see immediate changes, so I think it's best to make improvements as soon as you notice any issues.

I think there are probably a lot of people who see posts on Buy Local or Ippuri Showa-cho and think, "I'm really interested in this restaurant, but I don't know how to order (it seems like a pain), so I'll go somewhere else," and end up not ordering.

All restaurants have their menus posted on social media or at the entrance (even though they don't go outside, they kindly post it), so you can check it, but you often can't find information about how to order, when to order, when to pick up, how to pay, etc. I personally know the process, so I don't notice it at all and it slips through my mind, but when I put myself in the customer's shoes and trace the process from ordering to receiving, I often notice things like "this information is missing" or "it's a little hard to understand."
I think the key is to provide the necessary information in line with the customer's ordering process.

Of course, I think things other than takeout will also work well if we think about it based on customer behavior.

For restaurants that have only posted their menus or posted them in front of their stores, I would appreciate it if you could also include information on how to order and how to receive orders. This would make it easier for me to order from now on, so I would be very grateful.
If you're ordering takeout, you might want to consider using an online service like Picks.

See you soon.
