The other day, a student from the city university came to write his graduation thesis on tenement houses, but it turned out he was in a different seminar from us.
Since we were talking about renovations during the opening period, about half of the discussion was about social media, which may not have had much to do with the theme.

Although we are not particularly involved as a shop, we received a flyer and guide map for Open Nagoya again this year.
Well, I was first concerned about the cost. The guide map is A2 size and double-sided in color. It's amazing.
So, it's an event that is also attended by familiar shops in the area.

Open Nagaya Osaka is an event with the theme of "opening up your life," in which several row houses in Osaka will be opened simultaneously to the public, revealing the row house life of the people who continue to live there while adapting to modern society.
The aim is to deepen understanding and affection for Osaka Nagaya by communicating examples of modern Osaka Nagaya utilization and the appeal of living in a Nagaya to not only Nagaya owners and construction and real estate professionals, but also prospective tenants and the general public.
way to participate
1. First, please obtain a guide map. It will be available on the website from mid-October. It will also be distributed in the tenement houses at each venue. It will also be distributed by mail and on the day.
2. Please attach the "participation sticker" distributed at the event venue etc. in a visible place on your clothing. Admission to the tenement is free.
3. For programs that require reservations, please fill out the necessary information on the "Housing, Urban Development, and Internet" page and apply.

Recently, I've noticed that tenement houses around my shop are being demolished one after another.
As someone who runs a shop in the same tenement house, I think it's a very valuable resource, but I guess it's quite difficult.
I would be happy if events like this could help draw even a few more people's attention to the issue.
