The cafe (in-store dining) is closed all day every Thursday.

The table near the entrance is new, and being DIY makes you feel attached to it...

DIY shop tables...

The owner basically has zero masculinity.
I feel like I accomplished something, but my muscles are really sore...

Now, three years after opening, the store has started to have some problems here and there.

The legs of the table right at the entrance were starting to get wobbly, so we joined it with the table next to it to make up for it, but it was getting so bad that I started to wonder, "Is this cafe poor?"

I'm still having trouble with the leaking roof and I know I'm poor, but I feel like I need to buy a new one.

But the ready-made products don't fit me...
So the owner thought, "Why not just make it yourself? I can do it myself if I just attach the legs." So he decided to do it himself.

I ordered the tabletop, table legs, and paint online. I got all the materials last week, so I started making it on my day off.

There's nothing to do so I'm waiting...

Well, it's inevitable that you won't be prepared for a job you're not used to, and the screws were long enough to go through the tabletop, and the screwdriver wouldn't go in straight... I couldn't get the job done, so I headed to the hardware store.

The CEO is waiting while I go shopping...

You can do it if you try...

I bought some screws and tools and resumed work.
It was much easier than I expected, and I was able to screw it in smoothly.

It's firmly in the shape of a table...

By the evening it was in the shape of a table.
I have no idea why, but when I turned it over, it was wobbly and wobbly.

However, it seems like it can be adjusted with an adjuster, so I think it will be fine.

After painting, wait for it to dry...

Afterwards, I realized I didn't have a brush, so I went out to buy some again.

Apply an oil finish and wait for it to dry.
It takes 24 hours, so it's not completely dry yet... I wonder if it'll be fine by tomorrow.

New table starting tomorrow

So here's Usagi and my new table.
As the owner, I have grown very attached to this item.

Please use it carefully.
