[Notice] Regarding measures after the "mask optional" policy on March 3th

This articleApprox. 2 hoursYou can read at.

I think three years of wearing masks was enough time for new customers to recognize us as just two middle-aged women. A part-time employee at a nearby welfare facility also seemed to think the same. I guess post-COVID customers don't know what their faces look like...

Now…

An announcement was made on March 3th that "masks will be optional in principle." The criteria for the gold sticker that restaurants are registered for also appear to be changing slightly, and customers have been asking us what we're going to do, so we'd like to explain our stance as a restaurant.

We will not require masks to be worn, but we will continue to take basic precautions.

It hasn't been a while since we last required masks, and the store owner doesn't really recognize people's faces, so he can't even tell if they're wearing one. Sometimes he only realizes later when someone says, "That customer wasn't wearing a mask." Even now, there are still customers here and there who aren't wearing masks, so I think that's just how it is.

・Ensuring seating distance
・Alcohol available in store
・Staff wearing masks

is scheduled to continue.
In the future, we would like to make a decision taking into consideration the situation of major companies and the mood of the public.

The number of people entering each group will remain the same for a while.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone has been conscious of eating in silence, and the restaurant has also been limiting the number of people in each group, so compared to before the pandemic, we have seen an increase in customers who want to spend time quietly, such as reading. We hope to continue operating while cherishing the atmosphere of our restaurant. Please understand that the request to "speak quietly" is not something we have newly introduced during the pandemic, but something we have been asking of you since before the pandemic.

I would like to decide how many people will be allowed in the store based on how excited everyone is.
I'm worried that the mask policy and the spring air will lead to a surge in excited customers. We will make a decision based on the state of the store from Class 5 onwards (even if we go back to pre-COVID times, we plan to limit the number of customers to around three adults). Recently, I've noticed that people are getting a little more excited.

Remember that there are still people who care.

Usagi and I will also be steering our business and lives in a post-COVID world. However, we understand that there are still some people who are concerned. We have maintained sufficient seating distances, but if you have any concerns, please feel free to let us know.
We have guests with a variety of opinions, so please be considerate of each other and have a good time. Please do not force your own opinions on those around you.

Thank you.
