Who do you think was the most outstanding person at Ippuri Showa-cho last year?
I heard the catchphrase twice.
Six months after opening, I visited Ippuri Showa-cho for the first time, and wandered around the area saying, "I'll just say hello and see what it's like."
Five years have passed since then, and I've been wandering around constantly, so I've never been asked to participate in any events, and customers no longer ask me, "What are you doing this year?"
Yesterday, a customer said to me, "You're not going to do anything this year either, are you?" It's not that I'm doing nothing. I'm just wandering around.
Now then…
There are only two weeks left until the "Immerse yourself in Showa-cho" event, which will be held around Showa-cho on Friday, April 4th (national holiday).
I think each store is sending out information individually, but we haven't heard any specific consolidated information, and as a store we only have a vague idea of what's going on.
The area is large, stretching from Showa-cho to Momogaike Park and Minamitanabe, and I'm sure there are also events that coincide with the dates, so it's probably impossible to consolidate everything at this point.
I think the frequency of updates will probably increase from now on, so I think it would be a good idea to check the information using the link in the article I wrote last year.

According to some shop owners I know, they will be setting up stalls at the Buy Local Market in Momogaike Park. This year, there will be many participating stores, so it looks like it will be a lively event.
So, Usaboku and his wife will be eating and drinking at Momogaike Park in the morning, before heading to Bunnosato Shopping Street and the Showa-era playground at Hannan Chu Park.
UsaBoku couple's schedule
Morning: Momogaike Park (Buy Local Market)
Afternoon: Fuminosato Shopping Street, Hannan Central Park
I got a bicycle, so I was able to get around more easily than last year.
I hope I can meet you all at the right time...
If you see him, please say, "UsaBoku-san, can I have some candy?"
See you soon.
