Looking at the city this weekend, it seems like there are more couples and families out walking around town. With commercial facilities closed, people are probably flocking to downtown areas. It feels a bit like a regular holiday.
Even if the state of emergency measures continue, I imagine that after the 6th, more stores will begin to reopen and public opinion will gradually shift towards getting the economy moving.

Golden Week business hours

I'm not sure if it's appropriate to use the cheerful term "Golden Week," but I thought I'd let you know our business hours for the long weekend. Normally, I would take a break from the second half of the year to go back to Shinshu, but that won't be possible this year, so I plan to remain open as usual. We will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, regardless of the holidays.
We plan to refrain from serving food and drinks inside the restaurant until at least Monday, May 5th. We will continue to offer in-store sales and take-out drinks.
