Usagi and Me Online Shop

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, we are currently being asked to refrain from unnecessary outings.
Looking at the reports on the number of infected people and the situation around me, I have a feeling that we will be asked to exercise even stronger self-restraint from now on.
It is also important to take care of our own health, so we (automatically) self-check for infection every day by smelling the coffee.

It's been three years since I started Usagi and Me's online shop, and I'm glad I did it. It's become a lifeline for Usagi and Me's activities, especially in a time when we can't even encourage customers to visit the store. Since last week, we've been getting more orders than usual, and I'm very grateful for that.

The number of followers on our online shop (BASE) is approaching 300. I don't know how to get to the follow page, but I'd be happy if you followed me.

There are also encouraging messages from customers in the comments section.

When customers place an order, they sometimes write a message in the comments section, and I find their words encouraging. It's rare to see the customer's face, so I find it very encouraging.

Here is a short reprint of a message I received recently.

Message from the customer in the comments section

I often shop online, but I never write messages to stores, so this was a refreshing surprise for me.
I imagine that the sense of closeness is similar to that of social media. In physical stores, social distancing is so strict that even the governor is reassured, so this kind of interaction might not have occurred if it weren't online.
I honestly feel very happy.

The work itself is very analog, so when I'm arranging for shipping, it sometimes feels like I'm corresponding with someone. The only difference is the method, but the essential things, like how we connect with customers, are the same. I feel like there are advantages to brick-and-mortar stores and online stores. It's something you don't realize until you actually try it.

Mother's Day gift orders now open

With the current situation, I'm inclined to forget, and I hesitate to announce it, but Mother's Day is coming up right after Golden Week. This year it's on May 5th. So I'm planning to upload Mother's Day gifts this evening. We're currently accepting orders during the state of emergency, so please take a look when you have time.

It seems like the days will pass with me feeling hectic, but I want to keep moving forward and steadily do what I can.
