I had to run some errands during the day on my day off last week, but I guess the heat took its toll on me, because I've been feeling a dull headache ever since. Yesterday, when I came back from shopping, I was completely exhausted.
With temperatures exceeding 30 degrees for several days, we need to be careful when going outside.
Now then…
The other day, by chance, I became friends with my uncle on Facebook.
According to my uncle, his parents' cousin (cousin uncle?) has also come to the store several times.
My other uncles have also told me that they often read my blog, so I guess people closer to me than I thought are reading it... I'm grateful for that.
Shop blogs are read by people from all walks of life...
It's basically a shop blog written for customers.
When I write, I try to keep in mind that many people, not just my customers, are reading it.
It should be read by anyone, regardless of their position, including family, friends, business partners, facility staff, colleagues, and neighbors.
When I started the blog five years ago, I remember imagining the specific positions of people in each position and rereading the drafts before publishing them. I was very careful.
However, even with that awareness, there are still times when critical comments are made. There are so many different opinions and ways of thinking. No matter how carefully you choose your words, misunderstandings can arise or your true intentions can go unrepresented.
I guess that can't be helped in the end, so I just make fun of the funny comments and ignore the rest.
It's been five years since I started blogging, and although I'm still careful about the words I choose, I may not be as conscious of my position as I was at first.
One reason is that I've gotten used to writing, but I think the reason is that I've come to think that it's fine as long as my message gets across to only the people I want to reach without worrying about other people, and I no longer behave differently when dealing with people in different positions.
As I continue to write my blog, my focus becomes more consistent.
When I started blogging before opening, I was conscious of how the shop and the couple would be perceived (a kind of self-branding), but I stopped doing that because it would reveal my inherent sleazy personality.
I had no intention of doing that, but before I knew it, people knew.
It's important to have an image of the person you want to be, but trying to make yourself look good can be mentally exhausting.
I feel that if I write a story that tries to embellish or make things look good, it will eventually come out in pieces.
Whether online or in real life, it's easier to be yourself and not change the way you behave, even if the person you're talking to is different.
In a world where social media use is commonplace, it seems like you can no longer get by by trying to look good or behaving in a way that pleases everyone.
Expressing my true self through my blog means accepting all my good and bad points and harmonizing with the people around me. I feel like I've naturally been looking at myself while writing my blog.
By continuing, I feel like my axis is gradually becoming more stable...
I think blogging not only helps me attract customers, but also helps me grow as a person.
I once again realized that my relatives are looking at the stories and photos I've written so far.
I might have felt resistant when I first started writing, but now I don't feel anything at all, so maybe that's why...
