Five years after starting the store blog, personal interactions have become more important

I went to the first shrine visit of the year

I cleaned the roaster and grinder in the morning, then went to visit the shrine for the first time in the new year.
I'm probably less religious than most people, but I like the tense atmosphere of shrines. When I visit a shrine, I feel like my spirit is renewed.

Now…

It's been five years since Usagi and I started blogging and using social media.
It's been a year and a half since I moved from Ameblo to WordPress with my own domain, and I feel like things are finally settling down.

It is difficult to get people to view a blog on its own at the right time, so updates are posted on Facebook, Twitter, LINE@, etc.
Since you can't post links on Instagram, I post individual photos...

I think this style and the services I use will probably not change for a while.

However, when I first started, none of my friends were using Facebook, Instagram had just launched, and LINE didn't even exist yet. Ameblo was the main way of communication. The environments were completely different.

Looking back, it seems like a lot has changed...

The reason I decided to switch from Ameblo to WordPress was because I felt that my interactions with people around me were becoming more centered around social media rather than blogs.
The number of visitors to blogs is also increasing via social media, with the proportion of visitors coming from smartphones.

It has become commonplace to use smartphones to communicate with people you are connected to in real time.
Up until now, I have often spoken out from the perspective of the store, but I feel like I am increasingly writing from the perspective of the store owner as an individual rather than the store.

It is primarily a tool used for communication between friends.
That's the natural flow...

I think that this year too, stores will be required to use social media in a more personal and frank manner.

So, I think that this will become the same in real life as it is on social media.

That's what I think.
