What to do before thinking about what kind of cafe you want to open – Understanding your job and yourself
The other day I posted a photo of the dining room at my wife's parents' house, so this time I'll post a photo of our house.
There are some parts that pay homage, such as the feel of the floor.
Now then…
I wrote the other day"I need to think about sales methods that suit people's ages, physical strengths, and lifestyles..."As I was writing this, I suddenly remembered something.
This is a rewrite of an article I wrote on Ameblo around this time last year.

The other day I wrote that "books on opening a cafe hardly ever talk about careers."
I think I've written this a few times, but opening a cafe is a career change, so it's very important to analyze yourself before thinking about what kind of shop you want to open.
This was the most important thing I kept in mind when giving career counseling.
Even in career counseling, the first step is self-understanding before understanding the job.
Specifically, its activities include:
・Taking stock of your work experience to date
・Clarifying aptitude and ability
・Organizing interests and concerns
Let's do things like this...

The overlapping parts become the core of the store.
(You can also think of what society needs as your role, mission, or responsibility in society.)
I wrote the other dayLet's think about working hours that fit our lifestyleAlong with that, I think that by sorting out these things, the business model will naturally become clear.
To decide what kind of cafe you want to create, you need to understand yourself (self-understanding), research what a cafe is like (understanding the job), try an internship if possible (enlightening experience), and then get feedback from yourself before thinking about it again.
After that, you will think about how to make use of your strengths, what you can improve through studying, and so on, and your future plans and procedures will be decided.
I think it would be better if we could really follow that flow more firmly.
I've only talked about cafes, but the basics are the same in any industry.
I think I thought about that two years ago while listening to someone talk.
I wonder who it could have been...
