"Immerse yourself in Showa-cho" was held yesterday.
I wandered from Momogaike Park to Bunnosato Shopping Street, Teranishi Nagaya, and Hannan Chu Park.
Literally, I was immersed in it from morning to night.
I was wandering around the Showa-cho area handing out candy, and more people than I expected came up to me and spoke to me.
It seems difficult to approach the shop while it's open, so I think it was good for us to have the opportunity to interact with everyone in such a casual atmosphere. I think some people may have felt a little closer to the usually unsociable shop owner.
I was also happy that some people came to Showa-cho after hearing about our activities.
I also plan to blog about some of the events that took place on the day.
I hope to be able to show that I wasn't just drinking and having fun.
This is something that Usagi and I have always valued, but by spreading the word about our surroundings, we hope to create opportunities for people to visit the area on a daily basis.
That's probably the aim of the event.
I just hope that I can help with that process.
