Sakura and Matcha Chiffon Cake

We are closed tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, so our business for March has ended early.
It's been three months already...time flies.

The cherry blossoms have been in full bloom since last week, so I was hoping to come a little earlier...
I accidentally forgot to contact the facility.
However, the facility responded quickly, which I'm grateful for.

The chiffon cakes we have commissioned Ogari Workshop in Sumiyoshi Higashi to produce have now been changed to cherry blossom and matcha flavors.
Even though the cherry blossoms in the surrounding area have fallen, the passage through the Mint Bureau will be in the middle of the month, so I think I'll be able to get through the whole month in a cherry blossom mood without it feeling unnatural.

I had heard it was cherry blossom chiffon, so I imagined it would be a light pink fabric, but it was green.
Come to think of it, it was probably the same last year.

The menu also had "Sakura Chiffon" written on it, but a customer posted that they thought they had ordered the wrong thing, so they quickly added the word "matcha."

The matcha dough has red beans inside and a subtle cherry blossom saltiness.
A chiffon cake that tastes similar to the Japanese sweet sakura mochi.

The sweetness and saltiness of Japanese sweets go surprisingly well with coffee.
Milk-based drinks like lattes would also be good.

So it's going to be for a very limited time...

See you soon.
