There was a cafe I wanted to go to...
Preparations for business from tomorrow are slowly coming together. I would like to write this blog while feeling sad about the end of the holidays.
So, the article will be simple and talk about couples today.
Whenever I come across a restaurant I'd like to try, I reluctantly check Tabelog, and when I glanced at a review of a trendy coffee shop, I came across this:
The coffee is lukewarm
The menu is wrinkled
I've never been there so I can't judge for sure, but if we think about it normally, we would say that this is a deliberate move.
Nowadays, many shops that specialize in specialty coffee set the water temperature low, and even their menus have stylish presentations.
If the store staff were to read the reviews, they might be surprised, as they probably think it's something that's so obvious.
It was a surprising incident that made me realize that customers can be dissatisfied in unintentional ways.
Well, as the store becomes more well-known, more information will be available online and customers will become more differentiated, so I think it's fine to just pursue originality without worrying about it.
However, speaking of common sense, to give an example, the most common complaint to the customer service center of a major coffee bean company has remained unchanged for years: "The beans don't dissolve in hot water."
This may come as a surprise, but many people think that regular coffee powder is instant.
We sometimes check at the store, but what we take for granted may not be so for other people...
When I think about it like that, I think it's really important for us to send out information in advance.
For example, "We think it's stylish, so we intentionally make our menus wrinkled."
That's what we were talking about.
