I saw an ad on Facebook and heard that other stores had also won, so I was curious about this. Usagi and I also won the free AirREGI campaign the other day. It was like Santa came a little early.
Nowadays, Santa Claus rides a bicycle with the Kuroneko logo on it, and instead of giving presents, he apparently gives them "free rentals."
It arrived yesterday while I was off work, so I opened it right away. It contained an iPad, a cash drawer, and a receipt printer.
The iPad was an older model, the Air 16G, but it had a SoftBank SIM card. I didn't mind because I have Wi-Fi at home, but there are some stores where you can't use the internet... This might be a good thing.
So, I'm currently entering product data so that the cash register can be used.

This will bring us one step closer to becoming a trendy coffee shop. If I also wear round glasses, a beard, and a knit cap without a rash, it might look even more trendy. I won't do that though, because it would make me bald from the heat.
However, the cash drawer is too big, so it can't be placed where the current register is located... I've been thinking about various options, but changing the layout would be a lot of work. And it seems like I won't be able to use the current register drawer...
