The Obon holiday is over, but the heat is still continuing. How are you all doing?
Usagi to Boku is a shop that delivers home-roasted coffee and homemade snacks from a traditional Japanese tenement house in Abeno Showa-cho, Osaka.
Have you seen such a lively poster inside an Osaka Metro station recently?
"Travel and fall in love with the vibrant Osaka"The catchphrase is impressive, and the charm of Osaka is packed into the shop."Osaka Mania"This is a poster.
In fact, our "Usagi and Me" sweets have joined the ranks of these sweets...but I'll let you in on a secret here.
The round yellow maple-flavored donut can be seen at the bottom center of the poster.
This is the "Coffee Shop Baked Donuts" that was on sale until last year.
Currently available in stores, the rabbit-shaped"Usado"This was its previous appearance.
When we saw our familiar face on the poster, we were surprised and said "Ah!", and felt very happy.
From "baked donuts from a coffee shop" to rabbit-shaped "Usado"
Last year, "Coffee Shop Baked Donuts" was reborn as "Usado," a cute rabbit-shaped donut, with the hope of becoming even more beloved by everyone.
The shape has "evolved" into a cute rabbit shape, but the recipe for the moist and gentle-tasting dough has of course remained the same.
If you saw the poster and thought, "These donuts look delicious!", don't worry. You can still enjoy that deliciousness at the current Usado.
The unchanging passion behind our donuts
And there is one more thing that remains the same even if the form changes.
These "Usado" are lovingly crafted one by one by the people at the "Ogari Workshop" in Sumiyoshi Higashi.
"Usagi to Boku" has been working in collaboration with local facilities for people with disabilities, and has cherished the desire to contribute to creating a warm community where everyone living in this town can shine as themselves.

Recently, our long-standing activities were recognized."Osaka Prefecture Excellent Disability Support Company"We were able to receive certification as such.
This is all thanks to the customers who support our store on a daily basis, and to everyone at Ogari Workshop who makes these wonderful sweets. We would like to express our sincere gratitude.
