It's not that we can't sell it anymore, but that our customers can't buy it anymore.

Due to restrictions on movement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, stores have lost sales opportunities and are likely seeking new sales channels, but the key point is that restrictions on movement have cut off the path that customers take to make a purchase.
Rather than thinking from your own perspective, "We can no longer sell," I think it's better to think from the customer's perspective, "Customers can no longer buy our products."

How you respond will vary greatly depending on whether you believe you are no longer able to sell or whether your customers are no longer able to purchase.
This is a completely opposite perspective, so it may take some time to get used to it, but I think we need to recognize that products don't sell on their own; "sales are only generated when customers take action," and provide support that makes it easy for customers to make purchases.

So, if customers feel that it is necessary, then I thought it would be great if they could register on our online store and use it.

Let's be considerate of our customers' feelings.
